Stiff Rope Deluxe

This can be an excellent comedy prop or a serious prop depending on the presentation.

A magician is able to make an ordinary looking rope become limp or stiff at his command. This can be repeated any number of times and can be performed surrounded. An excellent multipurpose prop.

The Stiff Rope is about 3.5 feet long, made of white cotton rope covering a flexible spine.

Comes with instructions.

Performance Ideas:

Demonstrate your “hypnotic powers” by pretending to hypnotize the rope. Command the rope to stay stiff and straight- and it does! This is a great effect for a Halloween show. The rope can appear to have a spirit inside, that can levitate and suspend the rope.

Gospel Presentation Ideas : 

– Stiff Necked Illustrate how stubborn and stiff necked people can be with God and with others. But we’re not made to be that way.

– Jesus’ Power over Nature Illustrate how Jesus’ miracles broke the laws of physics – as this rope appears to break the laws of gravity.

– The Bridge Use the red colour of the rope and it’s ability to go stiff horizontally to talk about how Jesus has bridged the gap between man and God and cleaned away our sins.
